Religion vs. Spirituality

Why does the world look at Christians and think they are religious? Why is the world turned off by religion?
Some ppl say they are more interested in being spiritual than religious… but what does that really mean?

I think that theres a few different things that can apply to this. You can be religious without prayer, but you cannot be spiritual!

It’s sooo true… being religious is simple… just do what the book says, do what appears to be right. Religion brings about a hypocritical nature.

Religious ppl KNOW what the bible says, Spiritual pp WALK in what the bible has to say.

Religious ppl have all the right words to say… but being spiritual is sooo much more than that.
Spirituality has to do with having a relationship with the Lord, knowing and learning who He is, and just longing to spend time with Him.

The reason I bring this up is b/c i feel that many ppl walk in religion. They say they love the lord, they can quote scripture, but they dont really believe with their heart what they read and know. Ppl know ABOUT Jesus, but they dont know Jesus.

Now, i dont really know what to do with that. I know that i cant change ppl who are like that, all I can do is love them. That’s what Jesus wants me to do, and hopefully through that they will be able to see who HE really is.

I love Jesus! And I love ppl! Hopefully i can convey that to the world!
